Slat Band Conveyor

Using a chain-driven loop of slats, slat conveyors move products from one end of their chain to the other. Just like belt conveyors, the chain is driven by a motor. In this conveyor type, the slats are connected to the chain instead of a rubber belt. As a result, this material handling machine is ideal for many products that cannot be moved by rollers and belts. Metal slats usually accompany slat conveyor, making it able to operate safely in hazardous environments. This type of conveyor can be configured in any speed and width with optional side rails.
